2025 Celebrating Design Texas Awards

Natural light permeates the primary entry lobby showcasing an “industrial tech” design concept reinforced through architecture, an integrated graphic language, and iconography. A custom linear LED pendant fixture welcomes guests, with a stylized abstract map routed in the wood panel behind the reception desk.

This company’s new office is a state-of-the-art, 10-level workplace ecosystem equipped with vibrant activity-based work settings and distinct amenities.

The design focuses on creating a sense of openness and organic flow throughout the space, with a particular emphasis on access to daylight.

The journey line on the first floor ends here, transitioning from a distinction on ceiling and floor into the dining screen with a vertical pattern of metal tubes. The rhythm of them mirrors the mountains outside, and the elongated figure of pine trees, highlighting the architectural volume.

A UNIQUE SPACE FOR STUDENTS: Comets LANding is one of the most extensive facilities of its kind in the country. This university excels at nontraditional competitive sports, and the new venue serves as a showcase to highlight their leadership.

The custom ensemble hot-rolled steel and walnut raised panel reception desk and divider screen bookcase for Private Law Firm. The ensemble together inspired by classic furniture design. The desk, inspired by tradition raised panel and beadwork caseloads. The bookcase divider inspired by Charlotte Perriand's Nuage bookcase with assymetrical spacing. Together this custom ensemble anchor the reception for this private law firm.

From this angle, the eye is drawn to the beautiful conference table, which sits centrally in the space. The back wall features a thoughtfully designed storage unit that combines both open and closed storage. The top section is made up of open shelves, offering space for displaying decor and personal items, while the central cabinet, positioned beneath the steel beam, adds functionality and a touch of elegance. The bottom section of the storage unit is finished in sleek black with additional cabinets, providing plenty of space for organization. Rose gold handles add a sophisticated, modern touch to the design, tying the entire wall together and complementing the overall aesthetic of the studio.

The kitchen cabinetry is white oak with brass hardware and integrated lighting. The dining table features a live edge slab which parellels the color of wood used throughout the kitchen. Abstract animal-print dining chairs were upholstered in custom material and custom finished with brass inlays. Bold black pendants anchor the island while maintaining contrast against the neutral finishes to add visual interest. The design is meant to emphasize materiality and scale to unify the kitchen, dining, and living space.

This living room effortlessly combines sophistication with warmth, blending modern and eclectic design elements. The neutral-toned furniture, paired with deep blue throw pillows, creates a stylish and intimate atmosphere. A chic marble and metal coffee table adds a touch of elegance, while the dark, textured fireplace introduces depth and contrast. Navy blue-lined eclectic wallpaper bookshelves proudly display curated art and unique hand-selected pieces, infusing the space with both boldness and refinement. The original space, with its brown tones and dark wood cabinets, lacked personality—until the bespoke cabinetry elevated it to a whole new level. The client’s preference for balance was central to the design, and the addition of stone to the fireplace enhanced the room's dimensionality, completing the look.

This light-filled kitchen pairs sage green cabinetry with leathered quartzite countertops and a dramatic stone hood. Warm wood tones in the beams and floors add a rustic softness, while the tailored trim and elegant pendant lighting elevate the look with timeless charm.

The bold, custom chevron-patterned black barn door adds a dramatic touch of contemporary flair. Warm wood-look tiles envelop the back wall, housing a built-in bench and recessed shelf. The spacious glass-enclosed wet room also features oversized gray tiles, matte black fixtures, and a black pebble stone floor that ties the entire space together.

A reimagined layout transformed this oversized, inefficient footprint into a cohesive and functional space, complete with a serene material palette.

This remodelled bedroom includes custom storage solutions and design details. The client needed a dark, calming color palette for migraines and atmosphere.

Delicate gold metallic leafing dances across ombré silk wallpaper, adding softness and shimmer to this powder room jewel box.

Old-world charm meets modern refinement in this powder bath, where a honed stone floating vanity is set against a rustic limestone backdrop. A vintage-inspired mirror and iron sconces bring warmth and patina, while natural textures ground the petite space in timeless elegance.

A study designed to inspire success

This functional, stylish and personalized home office includes a built-in credenza with floor lamps to maximize vertical space usage.

Here is Eleanor chilling out in her pod pet bed up on "their" countertop space. We matched these cabinets to those in the rest of the home, opted for variety in pull-out sizes. The client went to UT, so we wanted a nod to that in the David Hick's inspired backsplash tile.

We designed this custom vanity cabinet with plenty of storage according to the homeowners needs. We placed shaded sconces and gold plumbing and accents to brighten the space.

Fire Pit

A modern lighting fixture in amber tones anchors the historic staircase, blending Queen Anne–style inspiration with energy-efficient LED technology. Original pine floors were preserved and restored throughout.

The front of the house has a simple, I chose modern look that feels calm and inviting. Soft touches of greenery add life to the exterior, making the home feel like a peaceful retreat even before you step inside.
